Client Citrix Presentation Server 10.200

Client Citrix Presentation Server is Citrix Systems’ client software for securely accessing Windows applications and desktops delivered from a Citrix Presentation Server (formerly MetaFrame) environment. Built on the ICA protocol, it provides fast, reliable remote sessions over LAN or WAN, presenting published apps alongside local programs as if they were installed on the endpoint.

Key capabilities:

• Secure remote access using SSL/TLS when paired with Citrix Secure Gateway or Access Gateway
• Seamless app windows or full virtual desktop sessions
• Optimized display remoting with compression, bandwidth controls, session reliability, and automatic reconnection
• Integration with local resources, including printers, drives, clipboard, audio, and smart cards (where supported)
• Multi-monitor support and configurable resolution and color depth
• Centralized configuration and easy client deployment across managed environments
• Availability for multiple endpoint platforms and thin clients (version-dependent)

Common use cases include remote work, branch-office access, and secure delivery of line-of-business applications to diverse endpoints without local installation.

Requirements:

• Network connectivity to a Citrix Presentation Server (XenApp) farm with published resources
• Appropriate user credentials and licensing
• A compatible client version for the target operating system

Note: The Client Citrix Presentation Server is the predecessor to Citrix Receiver and the modern Citrix Workspace app. Compatibility and features may vary by version and platform.
